WHO I AM
Hello I am Mike Riley. I am an Senior Ruby on Rails Programmer at BLiNQ Media. Previously, I worked for Engine Yard as an Application Support Engineer and
at Progressive Insurance as a User Experience Developer.
I have experience with design, programming and system administration. My desire is to always learn and grow professionally as well as personally. The projects and positions I have held have allowed me to do this.
With my design experience, I am well versed with various design packages. I have created logos, designed websites and created interactive usability mockups. My programming experience currently focuses on Ruby and using the Ruby on Rails framework. With the Ruby on Rails framework I have helped various clients with dynamic, scalable websites. With my current position, I work on a Ruby on Rails application that allows customers to target, optimize, place and monitor ads on Facebook. I also work quite extensively with JavaScript.
